General Information
We begin screening our applicants by telephone explaining all
of our requirements so that we do not waste anyone's time.
Here is what we initially ask our prospective applicants to have
in place:
Ten year work history including names, addresses and phone numbers
of employers as well as dates of employment, salary information,
description of duties and reasons for termination as well as
educational background.
Name and phone Number of at least one personal reference.
An
agreement that the applicant will subject to hire allow us to
do a complete background check and be fingerprinted and registered
with Trustline if they are working as a Nanny.
An
agreement that they will provide us with all identification
and proof of legality to work in this country (information that
is required subject to hire).
An
agreement that the candidate will have their CPR card renewed
within 30 days of being hired if they do not have CPR or their
card has expired.
Once the applicant comes to our ofice and fills out our application,
we conduct a one-on-one interview to see whether or not the applicant
is someone we choose to send out on interviews. Although we would
like to help everyone seeking employment, we are unable to do
so based on our strict requirements and discerning methods.
We ask each of our candidates to sign a Domestic Connections
Applicant Agreement Form stipulating the conditions that must
be followed by each applicant to receive our representation. We
do our very best to make everyone aware of our expectations to
qualify them as viable candidates for our clients.
